| Biking
and art. What a great combination!
Hi! I'm Kit Miracle and I create
paintings from my bike trips.
I've been biking for 40 years and
have been a professional artist for more than half of that time
but it wasn't until a trip to Provence, France in 2002 that it
occurred to me that I could combine two of my greatest passions.
Biking seems to be just the right
pace for traveling and looking around. I can pull over and
stop any time, nearly any where, often in places where there is
no room for a car. Since I've equipped my bike into a
rolling studio, passersby find me on the back roads or side
streets. I'm always glad to discuss my art with them or
just have them watch, but as often as not, I only have an
audience of squirrels or the neighboring dogs.
