Kit Miracle - Artist/Biker

This is where it all got started.  I found my soul's home as well as new inspiration for my art.  I'm still creating new work from my notes, sketches and photographs.

This is a big adventure which I started this year.  It is my intention to bike the entire length of the Ohio River, all 981 miles (twice if I do both sides).  I expect this project to take at least five years, if not a lifetime.  Well, everyone needs a goal to aim for, right?

This beautiful part of my home state is filled with rolling hills, rivers and streams, fields, rustic back roads, quaint villages and small towns. Dazzling in any season, imagine New England without the crowds, a better climate and opalescent light.

These unique pen and ink sketches are reproduced on 100 % cotton rag watercolor paper. Some are then hand-colored for an "almost original" creation.
