The Ohio River Project is a pretty ambitious project of biking the
entire length of the Ohio River (at least 981 miles) and recording my
travels in paintings and sketches. So far, much of the work has
overlapped with the Southern Indiana work so you will see many of the
same paintings on both sides. As I get farther afield, that will
change. I started in the middle at a
place in Crawford County called Artist's Point. How appropriate!
Due to the nature of the project, I am biking in
legs, generally at least one trip per week in better weather and am
trying to stick as close to the Ohio River as possible. This
depends much on the weather, the roads and if the river is flooding. |
